Final Forum Post For your final discussion forum post, find a legal news story that is worth sharing. Make sure that the news item you choose has some sort of legal significance. The reason why you are sharing this story is because it should be of some interest to you, me, and your classmates (keep in mind that this is a Business Law class!). The purpose of this discussion forum is to illustrate how you have successfully become a sophisticated client by the end of this course and this should be evidenced in your post. Please provide a hyperlink to the story you have selected under your references. For this week's post we are continuing on with the discussion of financial literacy and consumer protection, but in the context of credit and bankruptcy. The link below is for a documentary about the U.S. financial crisis but elements are certainly applicable to Canada as well. It is prophetic in that the movie was produced just before the credit crunch and mortgage crisis (which, together, contributed to the Global Financial Crisis of). What you may find interesting is how students are profiled/portrayed in this documentary. Your task for this week is to watch the documentary and comment on an aspect in it that you find interesting. This forum may lead you down many different paths, such as commenting on the Global Financial Crisis or contributing to the recent and on-going debate about the high cost of living in Vancouver and whether it is sustainable.
