: The goal of the 10-Minute Lesson is for you to develop expertise in a topic covered in Casagrande’s The Joy of Syntax and Lynch’s The English Language: A User’s Guide, and then share that information with the class via a presentation on your lesson. If the “lesson” aspect of this gives you the heebie-jeebies, then call it something else (explanation? overview?). If you prefer, you can collaborate with a classmate and present on related topics for a 20-minute presentation.
