This assignment is writing about the book John and Abigail Adams: An American Love Story by Judith St. George.
The history of America from the perspective of women has a slant that slightly differs from the typical “Dead White Male’s” outlook. These women, from the beginnings to the late 19th century, helped shaped the area, the roles of the people living in it, and had a huge impact on the success of the United States. However, their impact early on was a struggle… women had gone from thriving prior to European contact to eventually fighting for what they viewed as their rights.
