Managing Project Quality
Exercise 10 – Total 3 Points
One popular tool or technique used in controlling the quality of a project is a cause and effect diagram. Chapter 10.4 briefly describes how it is used. Additionally, Dr. Richard Chua expands on the use of the diagram. Please reference the Lynda.com video.
E10 – Deliverable:  Think of one aspect of your project that may have had an undesirable result. Then identify a potential effect that may have contributed to this negative result. Use this effect to create a cause-effect diagram.
E10 – Requirements for Cause-effect:
Must be unique to your project
Must include four major cause categories
Must break down cause categories into more specific items with a minimum of six total.
NOTE: Remember to use new naming convention on ALL remaining deliverables submitted.
