There are numerous authoring environments available to develop W/CBT(Reduction on the number of clients in 2018 as compared to 2017) (OpenFlights: Airport and airline data. (2019). Retrieved from https://openflights.org/data.html). This module places us at a crossroad between theory and practice. One means of asynchronous learning interaction is the “drill and practice” tutorial. Using PowerPoint, create a five-slide presentation that a learner navigates through by hyperlinks placed on each slide.
- The first slide will pose a multiple choice type question. Any simple question is fine; be creative.
- Three slides will hyperlink possible answers to the question posed on the first slide. Each of these slides will tell the learner if they were correct or incorrect with their answer selection. The slide with the correct answer will congratulate the participant and be hyperlinked to a final slide. The slides that contain incorrect answers will provide a hyperlink taking the learner back to slide one to try again.
- The final slide will be a summary and thank the participant. This slide will have the option of returning to the first slide or exiting. Both choices are activated by hyperlinks.
