  • Mary Eberstadt, Colin McGinn and Peter Wenz each are clearly troubled by pornography – indeed it may not be easy to find an ethical theorist nowadays who isn’t troubled by the contemporary prominence of pornography both hard and soft. Why is it so difficult to formulate moral objections to pornography? If it manages to elude moral objection, then why do people find it so troubling?
