Module 01 Research Project – Topic Introduction

Once you have chosen your topic of interest, you will write an introduction of the topic (Corrections: A Problems with mentally ill inmates in prisons and jails.)

. Your introduction should:

  • Provide background information about the topic so the reader will understand the importance of the research.
  • Establish the main ideas and context of the topic.
  • Include appropriate scholarly support for each assertion of fact. You should have 5 resources, 3 of which are scholarly, peer-reviewed sources published within the last 5 years.
  • The introduction should be one page in length.
