you will need to write a one-page paper on your idea (Artist Statement). You will need to discuss the idea, how you did it, what you feel it means, and the materials you used. A successful illustration should be able to “show” or “be read” as the song.
Grading:
- You will be graded on the quality of the piece:
- craftsmanship 25 points
- Effort 25 points
- Originality 5 points
- The readability of the piece as the song. 20 points
- The paper you turn in accurately describing the work. 25 points
